Bachelor of Business with Accounting Specialization


USQ’s Bachelor of Business with Accounting major is a career-oriented degree designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge for a career as an accountant. The degree issued is awarded by the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Australia and is exactly the same as the on-campus version in Australia. This option provides students an authentic, international degree without leaving Pakistan and at a fraction of the cost of studying abroad.

Professional Accreditation

Accounting major graduates will meet the educational entrance requirements of CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). This provides Associate membership of CPA Australia, eligibility to study the CPA Australia professional exams and eligibility to study the CAANZ professional exams.

Successful completion of the Accounting major can qualify students for exemptions from the Fundamental level (9 papers) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams.


Students are required to complete a total of 24 modules over 3 years in order to graduate with a USQ Australia Bachelor of Business degree with Accounting specialization. The program structure is as follows:

On completion of the 24 courses, students are awarded a Bachelor of Business degree with Accounting major.

You will graduate as a qualified accountant able to pursue a career as a public accountant, chartered accountant, company accountant, company secretary, investment advisor, forensic accountant in the tax department, audit office, treasury and local government, or in financial institutions including banks and building societies.
