Naureen has more than 10 years of diverse experience in project management, communications, knowledge management and management consulting. In her current role as Manager Sector Development at the Pakistan Microfinance Investment Company (PMIC), she is involved in the development of new and innovative microfinance initiatives, project management and implementation, knowledge management, and communications related activities.
Prior to this, she has experience of working with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates (Pvt) Ltd – a management consulting firm. Naureen graduated with the USQ Master of Project Management program with Digital Transformation specialization in November 2019.
This is what she had to say about her experience at MDi Pakistan.
In 2017, I sought to pursue further education despite my existing MBA from Bahria University. Exploring options available in Islamabad, the USQ Australia Masters degree program at MDi came across as the most flexible option with the opportunity to pursue a foreign degree whilst remaining in Pakistan. The program was enriching and provided an opportunity to apply my work experience to the assignments with guidance from the professors at USQ and the course facilitators here at MDi.
Moreover, my specialisation in Digital Transformation was interesting and also relevant to my role with the increased focus on digitalization, data analysis, business intelligence and information security. I would like to thank the MDi team for their continuous support and facilitation! With my experience and academic aspirations, I now plan to pursue a PhD in the future!
