The eligibility requirements and admission procedure for the USQ MBA at MDi Pakistan are as follows:
Applicants with a recognized 3-4 year Bachelor degree or postgraduate qualification and 3 or more years of professional work experience with at least one years’ management or supervisory level experience
Applicants who do not meet the above requirements, for example those with substantial experience but only a BA/BSc/B.Com type qualification or those with a proper 3-4 year Bachelor degree but limited work experience, may apply for entry via the USQ Graduate Certificate of Business Administration pathway. In addition to the criteria indicated above, all applicants are also qualitatively assessed locally in terms of their academic standing, academic institutions previously attended, subjects taken, type of work experience and job position, profile of employer, language proficiency and overall aptitude for a program of this nature. Once an applicant has been assessed to be eligible, then MDi assists the applicant to put together a formal application for admission to USQ Australia.

In the average teaching period, the total class time per course is between 20-24 contact hours depending on the course and the specific needs of the group.
The USQ MBA program is renowned for its global reach, quality of content, and delivery methods designed for working professionals. The overall delivery method includes a combination of classes, self-study with comprehensive materials, support from local tutors and web support with USQ’s own comprehensive learning management system called UConnect.
The delivery of the program can be summarized as follows:
-20-24 class contact hours per course
-access to UConnect online resources, ebooks, presentations, videos, course discussion boards
-access to USQ-approved local tutors as well as course leaders in USQ Australia
-comprehensive online study modules and materials for each course
-all assignments and tests marked by faculty in Australia; there are no final exams
-assignments submitted online via UConnect directly to USQ course leader for assessment
-self-study when attendance in class is not possible or practical due to job or location
Study materials used by the USQ MBA program at MDi Pakistan are the same as those used in the on-campus program. Each course, developed by faculty and course leaders at USQ Australia, has its own online study materials. These include a detailed guide with a week by week navigation through the syllabus and course material. The study materials refer to the recommended textbook(s) for the course as part of an integrated package of study. Students are also supplied with supplementary materials and references.
USQ Australia has a policy of using the very latest textbooks. Students can purchase these from the USQ Bookshop, from local bookshops or second-hand from other students. Subject-related textbooks are also available for reference in the MDi library.
UConnect is the university’s web based learning and online reference facility that is available free of charge to all students. It is an invaluable resource that provides access to a study desk, study materials, course discussion boards, and library facilities including reference databases, journals and e-books. It also allows students to have visibility about other students enrolled in the same course at other USQ partner locations around the world. UConnect provides an opportunity to interact with fellow students as well as USQ faculty.
The assessment and grading of courses is based on a composite grade of tests, coursework and assignments. There are no final exams. All tests and assignments are set by USQ Australia with a submission schedule that is known at the beginning of the teaching period.
Students prepare their assignments and submit these to the USQ Australia Course Leader via the assignment submission module in UConnect. USQ faculty then mark and grade the assignment directly.
Local tutors guide the students during classes on preparation of assignments but are not involved in final assessment.
