The University of Southern Queensland Australia (USQ Australia) international degree program at MDi Pakistan offers exemptions to graduates of local MBA and Masters programs as well as graduates of ICAP and ACCA type programs.
Here are some examples of exemptions awarded for different kinds of applicants with existing degrees:
Case 1 – Completed MBA from Local University and 2+ Years of Professional Work Experience
Applicants can expect up to a maximum of 50% exemptions based on previous courses, MBA duration and university. This means that instead of having to complete 12 subjects over a period of 2 years, these applicants can complete their USQ Australia MBA with just 6 courses over 1 year. This also implies that the cost of the international MBA is proportionally reduced by 50%.
Another option for such applicants is to apply for exemptions in the Master of Project Management program. This is 12 courses over 24 months but with 50% exemptions, this can be just 6 courses over 12 months. This can be a great option for those with a local MBA looking for an international project management degree qualification on top.
Case 2 – Completed ICAP or ACCA Type Qualification and 2+ Years of Professional Work Experience
Applicants can expect up to a maximum of 4 course exemptions. This means that instead of having to complete 12 subjects over a period of 2 years, these applicants can complete their USQ Australia MBA with just 8 courses over 16 months. The total cost of the international MBA will, of course, be proportionally reduced by 1/3.
This option is ideal for those with a local professional accounting qualification looking for an international management degree.
