“Enough is enough! Do you want to spend your life protecting your fame and possessions? Lao Tze<\/span>‘s natural way is to do only what is called for by the present moment.<\/p>\n

Do you want to give your life away to the pursuit of wealth? Do those who have more really have more? Or do they have less? They have to devote time and life energy to getting and protecting. Do they have time to let go, to see the truth? Living simply means enough is enough. Be satisfied with having just enough, doing just enough. If you take just enough, everything else is left!<\/p>\n

Can you see as a child sees<\/em>
\n And keep the simple vision?<\/em>
\n See the inner oneness<\/em>
\n With absolute precision<\/em><\/p>\n

Hold all things in your embrace<\/em>
\n The entire world is in your care<\/em>
\n Let things be just as they are<\/em>
\n Extend acceptance everywhere<\/em><\/p>\n

Let go all need to comprehend<\/em>
\n The truth is here where all behold<\/em>
\n Their infinite capacity<\/em>
\n To welcome and enfold<\/em><\/p>\n

Do you want all the treasures of the world? Will they bring you happiness and joy? Are the rich happy? No matter how much you have, there’s always more.<\/p>\n

Don’t fill a bowl<\/em>
\nTill it’s more than full<\/em>
\nOr sharpen a blade<\/em>
\nTill it must go dull<\/em><\/p>\n

Don’t pile up treasure<\/em>
\nThat comes at great cost<\/em>
\nApproval and riches<\/em>
\nAre easily lost<\/em><\/p>\n

Can you only do<\/em>
\nWhat’s really needed<\/em>
\nThen stop and withdraw<\/em>
\nWhen your task is completed?<\/em><\/p>\n
