Salman was a Channel Account Manager at Nortel Networks with a Bachelor in Computer Science when he joined the USQ Australia MBA at MDi. As Nortel’s Account Manager, he was responsible for carrier sales for all top tier GSM operators and played leading roles in supply management, IT, Billing and Support. He also worked for Alcatel, Orient Petroleum and Cerberus Solutions.
After his graduation, he then moved on to become the Country Director for Acision (now known as Mavenir) in Pakistan. His responsibilities included managing Acision’s overall sales and business development with mobile and broadband operators in Pakistan. He was also responsible for creating and maintaining strategic alliances with various systems integrators in the country.
He has more than 27 years of diverse and extensive experience in the telecoms and IT industry. His latest position is Head of Sales Asia Region for Global Messaging Services AG.
