Project Description

MBA General

After graduating in Electrical Engineering from National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Islamabad, Umar joined Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and worked there for about five years in the domains of Engineering, Quality Assurance and Product Development. He has now moved to Australia and MDi has arranged his final semester exams in Australia.

This is what he had to say about his journey with the USQ Australia MBA at MDi Pakistan:

Back in 2014, I decided to pursue MBA from a foreign university and that’s when I got to know about MDi, an institution that offers an International MBA right here in Pakistan.

I joined the MBA program with some initial apprehension only to find out that it was one of the best academic decisions of my life. The class sessions were totally interactive. I got to meet wonderful people belonging to diverse professional backgrounds. Exchanging business ideas with them during class sessions and learning from them was probably the best part. Moreover, I got to read the latest edition of books each semester so my knowledge was always up to date with current management subjects and issues. Last but not the least, MDi management, team members and faculty were extremely cordial and supportive and were helpful throughout my MBA.

I got permanent residency of Australia this year and recently moved to Sydney where I am currently working on one of the projects of Huawei Australia.

This is my last semester of the MBA. USQ MBA program has made me confident professionally and extensively improved my critical thinking – an important skill to acquire in the professional culture in Australia. USQ MBA at MDi Pakistan is a foreign qualification at your doorstep and a highly recognized qualification for me now in in Australia. I would highly recommend this program to every professional regardless of their age, experience and more so if you’re planning to continue working in Pakistan or moving to Australasia.
