Fiza Akhtar works with Bank Alfalah as Area Change Manager- North. She graduated with an MBA General from the University of Southern Queensland MBA program at MDi Pakistan in fall 2014. This is what she had to say about her experience at MDi.
After completing my Bachelors in Economics and Management from the University of London, I joined the banking sector to gain some experience before starting an MBA. After working for a little over two years, I found it difficult to leave my job and start an MBA at any institution. While there were many universities that offered an Executive MBA, MDi provided me with the perfect solution for completing an international MBA in parallel with enhancing my work experience and career.
Classes were held in the evenings twice a week and I made it a point to study over the weekends. Assessments were through online quizzes, assignments and examinations at British Council. The classes at MDi were always very interactive and exchange of ideas was common with a good mix of professionals present. Updated books were easily available and most of the course content was accessible online. MDi officers and faculty were always there to address any problem or issue that arose.
In what seems like no time at all, two years ended and my MBA was complete. It was a great experience studying with MDi for the University of Southern Queensland MBA degree and I would encourage prospective students, specially those that wish to work and study at the same time, to visit MDi, see the facilities firsthand and enrol here.
