The University of Southern Queensland has awarded Mark Ormel, a student of the USQ MBA program at MDi Pakistan and a recent graduate, the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Semester 2008…
Mark, who is originally from Holland, was based in Pakistan for a number of years and had previously completed a Masters degree in Mathematics in his home country. His cumulative GPA in the MBA program has been near perfect.
Professor Allan Layton, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Pro Vice Chancellor of Institutional Partnerships has congratulated Mark in a formal university communication and his message was as follows:
“At USQ we are committed to helping fulfil the lives of all of our students. We aim to develop graduates who are leaders in global enterprise and, as you are clearly a high achiever, you have the potential to contribute significantly to this goal…”
A number of other MDi Pakistan students at both the undergraduate and graduate level have also received the Dean’s Award in the past for similar academic achievement.
